The Expeditor will be responsible for communication with relevant teams, maintain track records of material ordered to ensure timely delivery.
Will also be responsible to:
1. Effective communication with buyers.
2. Track the concerns raised by suppliers in execution of PO.
3. Maintain constant contact with vendors and shipping companies while deliveries are in route.
4. Find solution to any concerns arising during shipping of items.
5. Track discrepancies raised by warehouse and assist Buyer in resolving it.
6. Tracking, processing of end user documentation.
7. Track and process advance payments.
8. Update transaction flow status against PO/PR lines.
9. Keep concerned customer updated on items getting delayed.
10. Responsible for maintaining updates in automated system.
11. Liaise with Logistics department pre-alerts and to ensure goods and services are delivered timely and cost effectively.
12. Advice and report to supervisor on progress of transactions and challenges faced.
13. Other duties related to the job, as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION
– High School or Diploma, preferably in a technical discipline. Bachelor’s Degree would be a plus.
– Knowledge of computer/MS Office or ERP’s used in logistics
EXPERIENCE
– At least 3 years in international logistics and technical supply operations.
– Work experience as logistician in aviation operation is highly desirable.
