Main Purpose Of Job
To guide and coordinate the translation of RCM and Insurance process requirements into EHR RCM applications with workflow analysis, testing and implementation operational support
Key Responsibility Areas
To provide RCM, Insurance and Coding process expertise and guidance in translating business requirements into RCM EHR business solutions
Actively participate in system implementation, dry run or simulations and pre- and post-go-live support
To provide ongoing operational support and guidance in RCM EHR system implementation, quality improvement and optimisation solutions
Oversee and guide the governance and effective solution implementation of system change requests
Identify improvement areas and recommend system enhancements to improve operational use of EHR
Required Education
A relevant Bachelor’s degree and certificate in clinical coding (CCS/CCA/CPC/CPMA) and licensed professional coder with AAPC or AHIMA
Required Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in healthcare with specific experience in patient administration, revenue cycle management (RCM), insurance and clinical coding
Required Job Skills And Knowledge
- Application of project management principles
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Financial systems (SAP, HIS)
- ICD, CPT and HCPCS coding structures (knowledge of DRGs would be an added benefit)
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
