Overview
Responsible for driving employees, picking up employees from different locations, delivering mail and other official documents / files, picking up supplies and stationary and providing administrative support duties as and when required. Keeps car clean, polished, and in operating condition. Ensures that company vehicles have full tank of Gas at end of each day. May make minor repairs, such as fixing punctures, cleaning spark plugs or other related repairs.
Will also be responsible for
1.Meet employees at the GAL Company, assist and accompany them to their designated destination.
2.Perform pick-ups and deliveries as required.
3.Maintain confidence by keeping information strictly confidential.
4.Drive GAL employees to meetings/Airport when requested.
5.Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, check oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc., perform minor repairs and arrange for other repairs, and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean.
6.Keep records of use of vehicle, daily kilometer age, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing, and tests performance of vehicle accessories, such as lights, horn, and other services.
7.Ensure that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident.
8.Knowledge of public safety, and security operations, rules, regulations, precautions, prevention, and the protection of people, data, and property.
9.Communicates by radio or telephone to receive requests for passenger service.
10.Any requests / duties must go through the assigned Manager.
