About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/Waitress to join Conference and Events in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Deliver a warm, professional, and personalized dining experience by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Confidently describe menu items and beverage pairings, showcasing detailed knowledge of ingredients and preparation methods.
- Liaise closely with the Culinary Team to ensure flawless food pickup, timely service, and consistent quality at every table.
- Manage table settings, serve food and beverages with precision, and maintain immaculate presentation throughout service.
- Efficiently prepare and arrange event spaces, ensuring all food and beverage setups meet client specifications, and provide attentive service to guests throughout the event.
- Contribute to an engaging atmosphere by maintaining an attentive, unobtrusive presence and creating memorable dining moments.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a renowned hospitality brand or within the conference and events sector of a luxury 5-star hotel.
- High School Diploma.
- Proficiency in English is required, ideally complemented by proficiency with a second language (Arabic and Russian) with strong communication abilities.
- Desirable working practical knowledge with Opera, Epicure, or Micros.
