About the Position:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Specialist to join Emirates Transport – MRO, Team. This role is responsible for organizing, planning, and managing all aspects of strategic projects within the Operational Excellence and Strategy Deployment department.

Key Accountabilities:

• Organizes, plans, and manages all aspects of a project from beginning to end.
• Coordinates with project managers, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects run smoothly.
• Assesses the impact of change, risks, and interdependencies and develops a change management plan to ensure successful delivery.
• Identifies, supports, and delivers business process improvement opportunities and facilitates subsequent change management activities.
• Reviews strategic project portfolio providing insights on progress and performance to enable management decisions.
• Manages project budgets and expenses, and communicates regularly with procurement departments to ensure that funds are available when needed.
• Provides administrative support such as keeping records of project details and ensuring that they are secure.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that they stay on schedule and within budget.
• Owns the project management phases, including scheduling, budgeting, design controls, and release processes.

Expected Qualifications:

• BSC in industrial engineering or project management (a master’s degree will be considered an advantage)

Experience and Skills Set:

• 3 – 6 years in project management, business improvement, or process optimization.
• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
• Works independently; self-directed and highly self-aware.
• Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills, negotiating; managing change; goal setting; planning and organizing teamwork; ability to address difficult situations; conflict resolution; resource constraint, and problem-solving. Strong written communication skills.
