Legal Executive Job in Dubai, UAE

Key Accountabilities:

• Review and analyze contracts, identifying legal and commercial risks, discrepancies, and potential areas of improvement.
• Draft, revise, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and licensing agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with company policies, compliance requirements, and legal standards.
• Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to contract management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of contract templates, guidelines, and processes to streamline contract management.
• Liaise with external parties, including clients, vendors, and legal counsel, to facilitate contract negotiations and resolve contractual issues.
• Maintain accurate contract records, track key dates, and ensure proper documentation and filing of contracts.
• Stay updated on changes in contract law and industry trends to provide timely and informed advice to the legal team and stakeholders.
• Support the legal team in other legal matters and projects as assigned.

Expected Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.

Experience and Skills Set:

• 1-3 years of experience working in contract management or a similar legal role, preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Solid understanding of contract law principles, contract drafting, and contract negotiation techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in legal research tools, contract management software, and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Transportation industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements related to contracts is desirable.
