CAD Operator Full Time

Purpose:

Perform and supervise the department CAD tasks in support of the review process and checking for
compliance by undertaking various computer-aided drawing duties, archiving, retrieval and organization of
designs, proposals, plans, sketches, records in terms of standards, design accuracy and complete
information.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings for architectural design and working drawings
• Perform quality assurance of all CAD products in terms of precision, accuracy, integrity, standards.
• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for architectural plans, elevations, sections, and
details according to architectural sketches and design proposals.
• Review and analyse specifications, sketches, engineering drawings, ideas, and related design data to
determine factors affecting component designs.
• Submission of screening and plot coordinates checking.
• Perform CAD and all in use graphic computer-aided applications in industry
• Maintain and update Planning Approvals (DMS) CAD and drawing files record
• Reconcile and coordinate specialist drawings, and overlay, identify, and examine drawing data
• Presenting measurements, areas, coordinates, topographies
•  Modify and revise designs to correct as needed.

• Degree in architecture, or 5 years of experience in similar field.
• Strong AutoCAD, Computer Aided design software knowledge with proven experience.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office, AutoCAD, etc..).
• Good command of English language.
