About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Door Attendant to join the Concierge in Jumeirah Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Greets all guests entering and leaving the hotel entrance, using the appropriate salutation that maintains a welcoming atmosphere
- Open the car door for all guests arriving or leaving from the main entrance of the property in a polite and courteous manner and greet them with a warm smile welcoming them on arrival and departure
- Co-ordinates with the bell attendants to ensure they remove luggage/parcels from vehicles of guests arriving at the hotel entrance and to arrange for their delivery to the guest rooms
- Handle the safe storage of luggage, in the storeroom making sure it is always kept clean and tidy
- Hails taxis for Guests, using the designated taxi company, opening the taxi doors, and helping them to be seated to provide them with the appropriate assistance required
- Identify and assist with security matters as a first point of call for guests checking into the SBU to ensure any security risks are minimized
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Higher Secondary School certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking
- Demonstrates excellent grooming standards
- Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential).
