Ensure quality controls are in place for all guest, management, and uniform articles, rejecting any exceptions.
Always ensure a clean and tidy work area spotting table and report to the Supervisor/ Laundry Manager for spotting chemical requirements.
Answers telephone calls from guests requiring cleaning or pressing services. Logs the request and goes to Guest Room to pick up the clothing that needs service.
Dry Cleaner responsible to ensure that service, required by guest is completed on time and with the highest quality standards.
Handling with care dry cleaning and pressing article of guests, management, and uniform garments.
Drycleaner -Presser role will include key responsibilities such as Check and test garments for colour fastening and pressing.
Check for any damage on received dry cleaning items prior to dry cleaning process.
Ensuring all delicate items are handled with extra care and processed as per care instruction.
Checks and carries out the stain removing and pre spotting process on article prior process.
Daily checks and maintains solvent level in the machines and refills as and when required.
Cleans the filters and services the machine every day. Reports any fault and defects in the machine.
Sorts the articles for pressing, steaming and hand ironing. Presses, steams, and hand ironing articles as required.
Replaces padding on machines as needed and assist and train other laundry colleagues in the process of dry cleaning.
Ensure the daily production of Guest, Management and uniforms articles are properly recorded. Maintains and follow linen logbook for repair and mending of uniforms. And guest article.
Assist Supervisor in the inventory /stock check.
Attends all departmental on job inter-section multiskilled and L&D training.
Attends departmental daily briefing and Meeting.
Ensure all equipment, machine and tagging machine are kept neat and in good condition and informing Supervisor on any trouble shooting.
Reports to Supervisor/ Laundry Manager about any feedback/complaints/comments received from guest, senior management, or colleagues.
Performs any other job as assigned by Supervisor/Laundry Manager
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role with preferable previous experiences in a five-star hotel.
Basic High School Diploma or vocational training in hospitality.
English communication
Good personality and positive attitude, energetic, friendly, flexible, motivated, and able to work independently.
Knowledge of operating of laundry machine and equipment’s basic tailoring skill.
