Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructures using Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Aruba technologies. Act as a subject matter expert in network architecture, protocols, and security best practices.

Network Design and Implementation: Plan, design, and implement LAN, WAN and data center networks based on business requirements and industry best practices. Configure and deploy network equipment, including Switches, Routers, Firewalls, WLCs, Access Points and SDWAN devices.

Project Management: Manage end-to-end network projects, from initial planning and scoping to execution, monitoring, and successful delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project goals are met within scope, budget, and timeline. Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate project status and updates to relevant parties.

Network Security: Design and implement robust security measures using Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies. Stay current with industry trends and emerging security threats to proactively implement necessary security updates and enhancements. In line with SOC for log exporting and analysis, addressing and mitigation of security vulnerabilities.

Wireless Network Optimization: Plan and implement wireless network configurations to accommodate a growing number of devices and ensure optimal coverage. Monitor and enhance wireless performance for seamless connectivity.

Domain Registrations and Certificate Management: Manage domain registration and DNS configuration, ensuring consistent availability and reliability of organization’s online resources. Handle SSL/TLS certificate procurement, renewal, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with security standards and policies.

Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to enhance collaboration and ensure seamless network operations. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide regular updates and reports on network performance, security, and project statuses to management.

Network Policies and Compliance: Enforce network policies and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8-12 years of progressive experience in network engineering and administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching, Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls, and Controller based wireless networks.
• Proven experience in project management methodologies, including planning, execution, and risk management.
• Familiarity with domain registration processes, DNS management, and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Experience in Cloud infrastructure setup – AWS, Azure
• Knowledge of VMware & Hyper-V based virtualized environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSA, PCNSE, and NSE are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
• Experience in network automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
