Enterprise Solution Architect Full Time

•        Interact and work with relevant functional teams to ensure that project future business requirements are aligned with enterprise Digital and IT strategy

•        Assess program initiatives to ensure they are aligned with the enterprise architecture goals and ensuring compliance to the enterprise wide architectural standards

•        Works closely with other solution architects, the enterprise architect and technical domain experts to influence the architectural direction whilst ensuring compliance with the architectural governance process.

•        Significant experience as lead architect in numerous IT projects.  Managed architectural process from end to end, taking full responsibility for the resultant solution architecture from the project initiation stage through to implementation.

•        Facilitates solutions across all stakeholders, interpret business requirements, managing architecture issues, and formulate a context for solutions, choose appropriate technology, and solution design

•        Provides thought leadership and mentoring to business stakeholders, and technical groups throughout the project lifecycle for solution design development, advising on technical implications and estimation processes

•        Ensures program architecture landscape and solution designs are appropriately documented. Producing architecture diagrams, roadmaps, standards and reference architectural patterns

•        Analyze the current applications and business technologies used across the organization and it’s entities and identify opportunities for consolidation and/or elimination to increase synergies, cost-efficiencies, and reliability of business information

•        Provide the required technical support to diagnose and resolve architecture problems

•        Assist in the development of the company’s Architecture Policies, Principles and EA standards to guide decisions and solution architectures

•        Develop and document in-depth knowledge of company’s existing program IT architecture, IT infrastructure and technology portfolio

•        Conduct research on emerging technologies, document and provide independent assessment and recommendation of technologies that will benefit the company

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

•        Minimum of 4 years of analysis experience in solution architecture and/or at least 3 or more of the following disciplines: programming, data sourcing, modelling, auditing and compliance, infrastructure development and maintenance, application development and deployment, system architecture, IoT, and enterprise solutions

•        Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable

EDUCATION

•        Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline

•        One or more of the following certifications is a plus: ITIL Master, TOGAF 9,

KEY SKILLS

•        Knowledge in TOGAF, & Zachman architecture frameworks

•        Knowledge in end to end delivery lifecycle for the successful delivery of a project

•        Ability to work at the big picture level, and to determine where a more detailed focus is required, and to work at that level when necessary

•        Ability to balance strategic and tactical demands, and effectively deal with pressure situations

•        Good communication & advocacy skills, with proven experience working with senior managers of large organisations

•        Proficiency in English language, Arabic a plus.
