Store Supervisor  Full Time

Synopsis

To supervise and co-ordinate with the assigned team for prompt and timely processing of all material transactions within the warehouse  in accordance with the company procedures and statutory regulatory requirements of EASA/GCAA/FAA/DGCA to ensure that operation in production department is not affected due to delay in parts delivery or pending transactions from the warehouse. To supervise full inventory in the warehouse ensuring proper storage, handling, traceability, shelf life control, periodical stock check and investigation & clearing of stock discrepancies. To analyse and present complete material transactions/statistics  to the management in order for the management to make important decisions concerning policy and process changes; enhancement/improvement in warehouse facility, infrastructure, manpower etc. to cope up with the business growth.

Accountabilities

• Supervise, guide and coordinate day-to-day activities of various sections under his control to ensure that storage, issues and handling requirements are satisfactorily met.
• Schedule periodic inventory checks to ensure that items are kept in proper bin locations and update stock balances and records in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor daily stock discrepancies and take corrective measures.
• Ensure that stocks are issued on first-in first-out basis (FIFO) and workload among workers are distributed evenly with no backlog build up.
• Ensure proper instruction and certification of assigned personnel in the operation of equipment.
• Ensure proper storage of all warehouse items in accordance with company and regulatory authority requirements.
• Supervision of Stores Issue Counter and GSE & Tool Sections.
• To assist the manager in various areas and special projects like regularly providing all types of stores activity reports such as Receipts, Issues, DNs, Credit Returns, PO’s, Back Orders, etc. and suggesting ways and means to improve deficient areas; submitting all types of analytical reports such as KPI, Non-moving/Slow moving/Fast moving parts, age-wise inventory etc. and recommending ways where improvements are needed.
• Resolve all types of queries/issues concerning Warehousing operation raised by Auditors and Regulatory Authorities.
• Supervise and control complete inventory, i.e. Etihad Airways Engineering, Third Parties and Consignment stock.
• Conduct all types of investigation and troubleshooting work concerning any queries on inventory.
• Liaise with IT concerning system problems/system enhancement etc. Liaise with Finance and Material Planners concerning various issues like stock adjustment related to parts reclassification, unit of issue problems, buying/exchange of material owned by third party customers, etc.

Education & Experience

• Degree/diploma is preferred with at least 6 years experience in an aircraft maintenance facility (MRO).
• General knowledge of logistic and aviation.
• Must have good English command both written and oral.
• Should be computer literate.
