Equipment & Inventory Coordinator Full Time

To support Manager Airline Equipment & Pricing in maintaining optimal equipment levels across EY network through effective planning and always ensuring stock availability. Execute inventory system into operation and whilst contributing to ongoing business operational requirements. This includes deliveries into/from stores of EY catering inventory lines through inventory planning & distribution.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support current business inventory workload and review current business practices regarding all inventories and stock rotation procedures.
• Support the build – operate – transfer process for the inventory push module and data entry, from development of all stock item data, par levels, aircraft inventories and monthly stock takes.
• Liaises with Equipment planning & development, P&SM, Logistics, and other teams to ensure the cost effective and on time delivery of equipment to all stations network wide.
• Coordinate the ongoing development processes to suit EY business –day to day communication and responsibilities with the warehouse and catering stations.
• Communication with all outstation caterers and EY warehouse management about equipment stock, fine tuning injection rates and stock holding factors and ensure caterers comply to the processes and procedures as per the agreed SLA.
• Requests as required use of ad hoc cabin load requests. Ensure all cabin load request are tracked and followed up with respective caterer to continually reduce need.
• Monitor equipment rotations and make recommendations and suggestions to reduce the loss rate.
• Facilitate Inventory risk evaluation, gap analysis, risk mitigation proposals (communication of inventory risk reports and substitution reports) with all internal stakeholders about equipment stock, fine tuning injection rates and stock holding factor

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma Level Education with excellent written and verbal communications skills, English as first or second language desirable
• Post holder must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with systems and processes (airline catering, stores, warehouse). Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and manage shifting priorities.
• Expertise of Microsoft applications along with Web and Internet software is required. Knowledge of spreadsheet software to prepare analysis statistics etc.
• Good understanding of inventory and logistics processes
• Strong data entry knowledge with in-depth knowledge of equipment and goods inventory systems or manual handling. Understanding of logistics network and product.
