Overview of the role
The Technical Executive is expected to actively gather information from branches, customers, principals, and competitors. In this role, you must have a deep understanding of automotive technical subjects, with a strong focus on automotive distributor aftersales and technical business, especially in the area of quality reporting.
Key qualifications include experience in Product Quality, Voice of the Customer (VOC) data collection and analysis, coordination of Initial Quality Surveys, Quality Reporting, Port Quality Audits, Market Product Reporting, and a solid grasp of general QC and QA processes and reporting techniques in the automotive industry.
What you will do
- Timely and accurate presentation of data and reporting
- Accurately capturing metrics and analytics as necessary
- On-going weekly/monthly review programme
- Control and recommend improvements as agreed, reporting regularly
- Timely response to internal and external correspondences
- Escalating technical issues or immediately
- Maintain complete documentation accessory product reports
- On-going weekly/monthly review programme
- Inspection arrangement and bookings
- Ensure payment processing for diagnostic tool software
- Ensure payment processing for equipment
- Schedule and ad-hoc visitor arrangements and administrative support.
Required skills to be successful
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically in Excel
- Procurement experience is a plus
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting, preferably within the automotive industry
- Strong planning and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
About the team
The role will report to Technical Support Manager. You will be working in a dynamic and busy Automotive aftersales environment wherein you will be dealing directly with both internal and external customers.
