Catering Pricing Officer Full Time

Synopsis

Have you worked with inflight catering either at an airline or with suppliers? Do you have experience with food pricing? We are looking for a Catering Pricing Officer to establish cost control systems and processes for the ongoing management of the pricing module ensuring compliance with business requirements whilst optimizing overall catering system performance and benefits to EY, acting as main point of contact for the pricing functionalities.

Accountabilities

• Support development and maintenance of the pricing module by ensuring accurate and timely completion of all pricing related data entries in liaison with regional performance team (all financial data, costs, taxes, rate changes, system thresholds, discounts etc.) including changes and updates.
• Coordinate with Regional Catering Performance team for ongoing translation of all EY food & Handling pricing specifications into data warehouse system for an accurate disbursement of invoices.
• Develop and maintain catering pricing procedures manual for current and future business systems processes in line with industry best practices in line with EY policies and procedures.
• Support internal pricing approval process and documentation for audit purposes and maintain computer based controlling system to ensure pre-defined budgets are effectively utilized.
• Track and analyse within database, impact of changes pertaining to all costs and pricing categories to identify cost changes and trends to ensure catering budgets targets are achieved.
• Coordinate with Regional Catering Performance, Culinary & Procurement to facilitate the baseline spent overview for Catering services RFP submission.
• Develop self-audit program ensuring robust financial controls.
• Facilitate, plan, and execute training of all staff and suppliers in all pricing modules of system

Education & Experience

• Degree level education in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• Post holder must have a minimum of 5 years airline catering experience with at least 3 years direct experience in pricing and at least 2 years in systems support function.
• Excellent communications skills.
