Job Purpose:
The Head of Brand, Creative and Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing a visionary brand, creative, and communication strategy that positions CBD as a market leader. This role will provide strategic leadership to ensure a cohesive and compelling brand identity, drive innovative creative direction, and enhance the bank’s corporate profile through thought leadership and strategic media engagement. The role will oversee all aspects of the bank’s brand, creative output, and communications, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across both internal and external channels.
Principal Accountabilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive brand, creative, and communication strategy that aligns with the bank’s mission and business objectives, positioning CBD as a market leader.
Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of brand guidelines, creative direction, and messaging themes to ensure a cohesive and compelling brand identity.
Lead the strategic engagement with media and thought leaders to raise the bank’s corporate profile and improve brand health.
Oversee the development and management of the bank’s corporate profiling and sponsorship activities to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Ensure consistent and engaging internal and external communications that align with the bank’s brand and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with senior leadership and various departments to ensure the brand and communication strategies are effectively implemented and aligned with business goals.
Manage external communication agencies to deliver high-quality and impactful communication campaigns.
Act as the corporate spokesperson and respond to media inquiries in a timely and strategic manner.
Ensure ongoing compliance with consumer protection regulations as they pertain to communications.
Develop and maintain the corporate website, ensuring content is current, relevant, and aligned with the bank’s brand strategy.
Guide, direct, and develop the brand and communication team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
Education and Experience
Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
15years of experience in the Brand & Comms domain, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, preferably within the banking sector.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand and communication strategies.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the banking industry and market dynamics.
Excellent command of English and preferably Arabic language.
Exceptional strategic thinking, planning, and leadership skills.
Ability to identify and translate innovative ideas into impactful brand and communication initiatives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and team-working skills.
