Role Purpose

The purpose of an Arabic Translator is to accurately interpret written and spoken Arabic into English and vice versa. This includes translating documents, audio recordings, and other media, as well as having the ability to effectively communicate with Arabic-speaking clients and colleagues. The Arabic Translator is also responsible for ensuring that the translation is culturally and linguistically accurate, while maintaining the original meaning and intent of the text.

Arabic Translator Summary

The Arabic Translator is responsible for providing accurate translation services between Arabic and English. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of both languages and be able to translate accurately from one language to the other. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adapt quickly to changing needs. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with a team, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to handle a variety of tasks. The position requires a thorough knowledge of the Arabic language, culture, and customs.

Arabic Translator Qualifications & Skills

• Translator should be well versed in the nuances of Iraq region Arabic (this is important).
• Previous experience in translation or a related field.
• Proficiency in multiple languages besides Arabic.
• Specialized knowledge in legal, medical, or technical translation.
• Experience with translation software and tools.
• Strong understanding of cultural contexts.
• Native or near-native fluency in Arabic and English
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of experience in translation or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
