HSSEQ Superintendent Full Time

The successful candidate ensure the Company’s Safety Culture is promoted and maintained to the highest possible standards and in line with the POML Safety Starts With Me and DP World Pillars by;

• Promote and maintain POML’s Safety Culture to the highest standards by maintaining open communication with crew and employees on HSSEQ matters, addressing concerns, and leading by example to encourage safe behavior vessels in Qatar & UAE.
• Ensure all vessels and worksites are visited as frequently as possible, with Management Visit Reports being submitted and followed-up.
• Manage and evaluate all risks associated with POML’s activities, including identifying potential hazards, assessing their significance, and implementing suitable control measures to eliminate or minimize risks.
• Act as the focal point, subject matter expert, and trainer for the company’s Control of Work and safe work processes.
• Review drills and exercises, providing feedback on scenarios and areas for improvement.
• Ensure new crew are inducted into the company’s HSSEQ policies and procedures (SMS) as per their job role.
