Field Service Technician Full Time

Purpose of the Job:

• Perform safe, productive operations, and maintenance activities of a heavy vehicles and equipment.

Job Accountabilities:

Receives work and job card from the foreman.

Repairs replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues.

Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to increase the vehicle’s functionality and longevity.

Rectifies the defect and fixes the vehicle within the timeline.

By receiving the job card, performs each requirement and ticks and signed the checklist before moving forward.

If any parts are required to purchase, informs the Foreman.

Searches for information in the available documentation (technical manuals, repair booklets).

Identifies additional work and non-conformances. Rapidly communicates them to the Foreman and writes them down on the job card.

Ensures the presentation of the vehicle viz. resetting of equipment and accessories, cleanliness.

Qualifications, Education, Experience & Knowledge:

Qualifications & Education

High-school degree /certification.

Experience

A minimum of 2years of experience in a similar role within the heavy vehicle and equipment.

Knowledge & Skills

Working knowledge of English (able to read and interpret technical manuals, repair booklets).
