Overview of the role:
We are seeking a skilled Technician – Industrial Products (IP-Service) to join our team at Famco DIP. This role is responsible for servicing, overhauling, and troubleshooting Ingersoll Rand Air Winches, Pneumatic Hoists, and BOP Hoists. The position requires hands-on expertise, certification, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
What you will do:
- Perform servicing, overhauls, and troubleshooting of Ingersoll Rand Air Winches, Pneumatic Hoists, and BOP Hoists.
- Ensure all service activities are completed within the sold labour hours with minimal redo work.
- Support the service team with technical expertise and fieldwork at customer sites.
- Maintain accurate and efficient service reports with strong communication in English.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction initiatives by delivering reliable service and support.
- Assist in achieving service labour and revenue targets while maintaining high efficiency
- Required skills to be successful:
- Strong technical knowledge of Ingersoll Rand pneumatic tools, hoists, and winches.
- Excellent troubleshooting, mechanical, and overhaul skills.
- Proficiency in servicing industrial equipment in both workshop and field environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and reporting skills in English.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency

What equips you for the role:
- ITI / Diploma / Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical from a government-recognized institute.
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience with a reputable dealer, distributor, or organization in the industrial products service sector.
- Completion of an Ingersoll Rand certification program is preferred.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
- Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and customer-service orientation
