Adjunct Faculty in Accounting

The College of Business Administration at Ajman University invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position in Accounting, beginning in the Spring Semester of the 2025–26 academic year.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related field from a reputable, preferably AACSB-accredited, university.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the university level in Accounting courses.
• Prior industry experience in accounting is considered an added advantage.
• Ability to design innovative course materials and adapt to evolving teaching methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in undergraduate Accounting courses, ensuring alignment with course objectives and active student engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
• Develop, organize, and update instructional resources, syllabi, and teaching materials.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and culturally sensitive classroom environment.
• Promote effective collaboration with colleagues and build productive relationships within the university and broader community.
• Inspire and motivate students to develop accounting competencies and professional growth.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methods, case studies, and real-world applications to enhance course delivery.
