Overview of the role:

You will be a Data Analytics application developer on our team. Your role will involve working with complex new data sources from various SAP and non-SAP source systems. You will quickly turn them into data sets and create business insights through reports and dashboards. You will also participate in new scope and requirements, issue resolution, testing, and support activities to meet business needs. You must set up proper processes to ensure durable, high-quality data reporting solutions.
Furthermore, role will include with leading a highly focused and competitive team, driving them towards achieving key business outcomes efficiently and cost-effectively.
What you will do:

• Partners with the product owner, scrum master, and solution architect to deliver the solution.
• Responsible for reviewing and analyzing business requirements and designing technical solutions.
• Create and deliver Business intelligence reports and dashboards according to the business needs
• Collaborate with internal and external implementation team members and partners to develop, test, and deploy solutions.
• Ensure that data models and reporting solutions adhere to best practices, standards, and principles aligning with business requirements and objectives.
• Estimate and deliver multiple projects, assignments, and system change requests with the required quality according to agreed-upon resourcing and timelines.
• You must analyze structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources for quality, completeness, and business value.
• You must have solid reverse engineering skills from reporting to tracing back to the source
• Responsible for governance and implementing robust reporting solutions using various tool sets (Power BI/Tableau/Alteryx/Databricks)
• Manage and administrate various analytics platforms (Power BI/Alteryx/Tableau), including, but not limited to, license and contractual agreements with Vendors (if needed).
• Expertise in Various Business intelligence reporting solutions such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Expertise in Data Wrangling solutions such as Alteryx
• Knowledge on data ingestion, data processing, and analytical pipelines for big data, relational / non-relational databases, and data warehouse solutions.
• Worked on designing and developing cloud-based analytics solutions.
• Strong reverse engineering skills.
• Build workflows using data from various sources, including on-premises databases and external data sources.
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• Expert in Writing, executing, and debugging SQL queries
• Good Business acumen with the ability to connect data, analytics, and strategic thinking.
• Thorough understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure offerings.
• Strong attention to detail, result-driven with high accuracy of output.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving aptitude and solid organizational capability.

Required Skills to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in computers / IT / any related field
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Business intelligence tools such as Power BI/Tableau/Alteryx
• Certification in Alteryx / Power BI is mandatory

What equips you for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in computers or an allied field of study.
• 8+ years of experience in Business intelligence tools such as Power BI/Tableau/Alteryx.
• Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in analytical/ insight roles in a fast-paced environment
• Certification in Alteryx / Power BI is mandatory.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Python/Scala) would be advantageous.
• Certification in Azure Data Engineering or Cloud Fundamentals will be considered an added advantage.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving aptitude and solid organizational capability.
