Data Head Full Time

The Head of Data is responsible for leading the data strategy and overseeing data-driven initiatives that align with business goals. This role focuses on driving data innovation, ensuring data governance and integrity, and building a high-performing data team. The Head of Data will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

1. Data Strategy and Leadership

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and business objectives.
• Establish data governance policies and frameworks to ensure data quality, privacy, and security.
• Lead the data team, setting clear goals and objectives, and driving a culture of data-driven decision-making.

2. Data Architecture & Engineering

• Oversee the design and development of scalable data infrastructure, ensuring robust data integration and storage solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and improve data accessibility and performance.
• Ensure the data infrastructure supports advanced analytics, machine learning models, and real-time data processing.

3. Data Analytics & Insights

• Drive the development and delivery of data analytics solutions that provide actionable insights for key business functions.
• Lead efforts to analyze complex data sets, uncover trends, and generate insights to inform business strategies and drive innovation.
• Oversee reporting frameworks that enable performance monitoring and drive data transparency across the organization.

4. Data Science & Machine Learning

• Guide the development and deployment of machine learning models and data science projects to solve business problems.
• Stay updated on the latest data science trends and technologies to continuously improve the organization’s data capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists to prioritize and execute on high-impact data science initiatives.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with IT, Digital Transformation, and other departments to align data initiatives with overall business goals.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on data-related opportunities and risks.
• Communicate complex data concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

6. Team Development & Management

• Build, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists, data analysts, and data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Drive professional growth and development opportunities within the team, ensuring continuous upskilling and knowledge sharing.
• Manage team performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals and KPIs.
