MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To execute and lead an effective and efficient operational and financial strategy for the business unit aimed at sustainable growth and development and quality outcomes in line with the strategic direction of the company
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To lead and manage the team
To guide and support sustainable business development and growth initiatives for the business unit in line with overall business strategy
To provide operational financial management direction aimed at improving profitability and monitoring financial governance, patient administration, and related control measures
To actively build sustainable business relationships with key strategic stakeholders
To pro-actively monitor and manage the high-level patient experience processes
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A relevant bachelor’s degree in management, commerce and/or finance
A relevant post graduate qualification in a related field will be an advantage
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years’ relevant senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting of which at least 3 years involved financial management functions
Senior leadership experience in the healthcare sector in the UAE
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrate understanding of healthcare industry operations
- Application of sound budgeting and financial planning and management principles
- Business metrics, governance, and risk management
- Patient experience principles and related best practice
- Commercial awareness
- Healthcare revenue cycle management and billing processes
- Marketing and sales principles
- Contract and service level agreement (SLA) management.
