MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To monitor and manage financial control and governance processes for the business unit to ensure alignment with company policy and prevent financial risks
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To ensure daily collection of payments made are recorded and reconciled according to company policy
Ensure accurate petty cash and cash float management practices are followed and monitored in line with standard company policy
Provide general financial monitoring and control
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A relevant Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting from an accredited institution
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years’ relevant finance experience in a healthcare setting
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Application of sound budgeting and financial planning and management principles
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Financial statutory requirements
- Financial systems (SAP, HIS)
- Knowledge of Funders and related processes and rules
- Patient administration systems and related processes
- Risk management principles, systems and best practice.
