Key Accountabilities

• Respond to aviation and structural fire emergencies (ARFF/SRFF) to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
• Operate and maintain firefighting vehicles and equipment.
• Manage control room operations, dispatching resources, and monitoring alarms.
• Conduct rescue operations, including casualty care and safe removal of trapped individuals.
• Ensure operational readiness through daily checks and maintenance of equipment.
• Participate in training exercises and uphold safety protocols.

Specific Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in fire and rescue services, with at least 2 years at an ICAO Category Five airfield or above.
• Certified ‘Medically Fit’ for the role.
• Fire and rescue qualifications, such as:
  • ICAO Firefighter
  • NFPA 1001 Firefighter I/II
  • NFPA 1003 Airport Firefighter
  • NFPA 472/1072 HAZMAT First Responder Technician Level
  • First Aid/Basic Life Support Certification
