Responsible for supervising the work of the Information Technology Department , developing general policies and strategies for information technology and technology, providing the necessary technical support to develop performance, applying the best technical and technical solutions in all areas and activities of the Academy in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, and using the latest applications and systems in the field of information security and protection policies, in addition to providing technical support and technical solutions to meet the needs of the Academy and achieve its goals.
– Setting the objectives, initiatives and operational plans of the Information Technology Department and its indicators and working to measure and follow them up continuously.
– Contribute to achieving the main objectives of the information technology department and directing the team towards achieving its goals and improving the level of services it provides in terms of quality, accuracy and effectiveness.
– Participate in the development of processes and procedures followed in the management of information technology and ensure that all policies, procedures and work systems followed are documented and adhered to.
– Monitor the performance of the Information Technology Department against the previously set performance targets in order to ensure that the work is moving towards the desired direction and that corrective and preventive actions have been taken as required.
– Preparing the annual budget for the management and control of information technology and ensuring compliance with it.
– Manage the Academy’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computers and software systems, to ensure their availability, reliability and security.
– Evaluate innovative solutions and market trends and evaluate new infrastructure technologies, tools , and product and service providers to provide high-quality IT products and services.
– Managing the process of designing, building and organizing the infrastructure of the Academy’s systems and applications and ensuring their maintenance and integration in a way that facilitates the smooth and effective transfer of data and operations.
– Managing the development of systems and applications for all organizational units of the Academy to enable daily operations and public services.
– Ensure that direct support is provided to all employees in the Academy regarding electronic devices, systems and equipment to enable business continuity.
– Engage and coordinate with IT suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure that high quality IT products and services are delivered and comply with mutually agreed terms.
– Manage IT projects, including software implementation, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancement.
– Monitor the progress of IT projects and ensure that project progress conforms to the specified standards and scope to ensure successful project delivery.
– Monitor day-to-day IT practices to ensure that the application software and systems that support the Academy’s operations and operations are effectively maintained.
– Develop operating plans, including the department’s financial budget, to ensure that all operations fit into the approved budget of the department.
– Direct the planning and implementation of system upgrades and updates to keep the Academy’s IT architecture up to date and secure. This includes monitoring system performance, identifying areas that need improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
– Monitor collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that IT services meet their requirements and provide support effectively and in a timely manner.
– Design and implement security measures and protocols to reduce IT risks and protect the Academy’s IT and data systems from unauthorized access, security breaches and cyber threats.
– Design and develop disaster preparedness practices, technical support and technical assistance to Academy staff, ensuring that all IT-related issues are addressed and resolved and hardware and software problems are fixed.
