1. Role Objective

Assisting TAQA T&D OpCos. IT Management and leads in ensuring SLA & KPI of workplace and infrastructure services are reported, validated and met by Managed Services Partner.

Oversee and support the execution of TAQA T&D ADDC and OpCos. strategies in the domain of Infrastructure and digital Workplace.

2. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Growth & Sustainability related :

· Technically support through specialized advice in areas of expertise

· Provide advice and act as first level reviewer of all the work of staff, ensure that they are of appropriate quality and that resources are used effectively and comply with leading practices

Customer related:

· Enforces the Infrastructure and Workplace strategy across T&D

· Positively influences business adoption of modern digital platforms across OpCos

· Execute all customer facing transactions in line with TAQA T&D ADDC and OpCos strategy resulting in higher satisfaction and timely delivery of services

· Ensure that internal customer needs, problems and requests are recorded and addressed in a timely manner

· Ensure the delivery of a world-class business services experience

· Comply with reasonable OSH instructions and safe working procedures

· Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems

· Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures

· Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone’s health and safety

· Assist with preparation of risk assessments; and

· Report OSH hazards, incidents, and issues

Operational Excellence related:

· Coordinate TAQA T&D ADDC and OpCos network projects from the inception and planning phase to production

· Develop and implement plans for the growth of data centre electrical/ mechanical facilities to support IT infrastructure scalability and for the growth of critical IT services

· Manage and support IT service delivery (infrastructure related) to TAQA T&D ADDC and OpCos business units 24X7 including change management, maintenance scheduling, performing checks, tasks, and backups within the technical environment

· Propose and drive implementation of Infrastructure Service delivery procedures based on best practices; work with business and ICT team members to set network related Service Level Agreements (SLA) for Infrastructure Services

· Proactively monitor and report on Infrastructure Services including gathering and reporting systems availability, performance and volume metrics, both in business and IT terms

· Manage and execute installations/ upgrades, maintain service levels (uptime) and ensure that technology infrastructure is optimally used

· Comply with reasonable OSH instructions and safe working procedures

· Drives innovation and efficiencies from MSP Injazat, other system integrators and service providers

· Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge by providing coaching and counselling

· Support in development of policies and procedures for various functions within the Office

In addition to the above, the incumbent shall also perform all other duties assigned by line manager

. Qualifications & Experience:

· Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Experience:

· Minimum of 3 years
