Key Responsibilities:

• Governance Framework Development:
  • Develop and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards best practice and regulatory requirements.
• Compliance Monitoring:
  • Monitor compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance.
  • Work with internal and external auditors during compliance reviews.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess IT-related risks.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their implementation.
  • Maintain the IT risk register and ensure timely updates.
• Policy Implementation:
  • Provide guidance and support to IT teams on governance-related matters.
  • Ensure that IT projects and initiatives comply with governance frameworks.
  • Conduct training sessions to promote awareness of IT governance policies.
• Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare regular reports on IT governance and compliance status.
  • Maintain documentation related to IT governance activities.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in IT governance.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to governance processes and frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CGEIT, COBIT) are a plus.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or compliance.
  • Experience with IT audit processes and regulatory requirements.
• Preferably with AI, Analytics, Cloud-based technology platforms, .etc. and digital transformation programs management experience.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, TOGAF, PMI, ITIL, SSDLC, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using governance and compliance tools.

Working Conditions:

• This position may require occasional travel.
• Standard office environment with the possibility of remote work.
