L&D Specialist (Multimedia) Full Time

Conceptualize, create and implement the output of the course design and development process while producing a final layout compatible with the departments corporate and client standards. Implementation includes interface, graphics, photos, illustrations, video, music, voice, and instructional elements for use across various platforms. The interactions must balance visual aesthetics and effective usability to maximize the learning experience. Consult with colleagues regarding the appropriate educational uses of multimedia technologies.

HR/ Multimedia/Other : 5+ Years Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Experience in Multimedia/HR Training/Other Experience in creating, developing and maintaining instructional media for adult education on multiple learning platforms. Knowledge/skills: – Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate diplomatically and effectively with trainers, instructional designers, and customers. – Ability to work collaboratively with other team members. – Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and consistently meet deadlines. – Strong organizational and file management skills as well as time management and project management skills. – Excellent judgment and problem-solving ability. – Knowledge of copyright and web accessibility guidelines as they pertain to online materials in adult education. – Expert knowledge in Wix/ WordPress/Adobe/ SharePoint site design/PowerApps/Podcasts along with experience in the production and support of live events/ webinars. – Working knowledge of authoring tools (SCORM API, XML) to create eLearning content.
