JOB PURPOSE

The role holder will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing Homogenizers, pumps, UHT sterilizers, pasteurizers, tank Agitators, HSM Mixers, Aseptic tanks, Valve Clusters Services, and other mechanical lines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. The Technician is responsible for the overall efficiency and reliability of our production line as per the OEM standards and ensures smooth operation of the fresh production lines.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments and root cause analysis on equipment malfunctions; troubleshoot and repair systems such as homogenizers, pasteurizers, sterilizers, valve alarms, milk powder hoppers, conveyor systems, and associated process lines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities, such as lubrication, cleaning, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimum performance and extend machine life.
• Ensure prompt response to equipment breakdowns or emergencies, implementing quick and effective repairs to minimize downtime and production losses.
• Collaborate with the production team to schedule preventative maintenance activities in a way that minimizes disruption to production schedules.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure spare parts and components required for repairs or replacement, ensuring an adequate inventory level for uninterrupted operations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with maintenance activities on processing equipment.
• Follow established safe work practices when performing maintenance tasks, such as lockout/tagout procedures, equipment isolation, and electrical safety precautions
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of Fresh/UHT lines machinery, ensuring that all surfaces, parts, and components are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to established procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the dairy or beverage industry
• Strong technical knowledge with different types of PLCs HMIs, SCADA systems, robotics, and industrial control systems
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
