Key Responsibilities
- Project Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple aerospace related projects within EPI to ensure they are benefiting each other and aligning to the strategy and business goals.
- Organizing programs and activities in accordance to business strategy and organization goals.
- Planning project management including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members various deliverables.
- Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
- Creating and managing long-term targets and goals.
- Developing a budget and operation plan for the program.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
- Communicating with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions on services.
- Producing reports on time of the status of the program.
- Analyzing program risks.
- Continuous evaluation of projects to ensure they are meeting business standards, adhering to budgets and meeting deadlines.
- Accurate documenting of the project scope, development, execution, budget and justification.
- Working on program strategy with marketing teams.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in Business, Administration or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification would be advantageous
- Prince 2, Agile or Waterfall Practitioner certification
- APQP, AS9100, AS9145 Certification Desirable
- Proven experience in Program/Project Management and evidence of projects
- Experience working in the Aerospace industry
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Experience working with APQP Methodology and Practices
