Purchase Executive Full Time

Position Title:  Purchase Executive

Reports To:     Purchase Supervisor

Position Summary:

Maintaining the purchasing policy and ensuring that all purchases adhere to it. Choosing the suppliers that the company will deal with and maintaining the legal interaction with them.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Price analysis and negotiation with suppliers.
• Obtain samples and send it to concern Departments for evaluation & approval wherever required.
• Source new suppliers.
• Source new items and alternatives for the existing items which are cost effective.
• Follow up with suppliers for the timely deliveries.
• Analysis of requisitions with last purchase & consumption details.
• Contact the suppliers for quotations.
• Processing of purchase orders.
• Correspondence with suppliers for the price discount, clarification & delivery details etc.
• Preparing and sending internal memos to the Departments regarding their purchase requisitions.
• Source the alternative products for interim uses in case the original suppliers are not meeting the delivery schedule.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a recognized University

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 5 year experience in Hospital preferably for profit.
