About the job
* Candidate Qualification:
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or training in sales, marketing, or the oil and gas industry are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience in business development, client relationship management, and technical support is highly desirable.
* Skills Required:
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the oil and gas industry, including its operations, challenges, and market dynamics. Familiarity with industry-specific equipment, supplies, and services.
• Sales Expertise: Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector. Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and explain technical aspects of products and services. Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create and deliver effective presentations and proposals.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct market research and analysis to inform sales strategies.
• Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs. Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
