About the job
Job Purpose
Selling Marine range of engines, gensets and other propulsion equipment sets powered by MTU Rolls Royce & Volvo Penta either as individual units or as turnkey project with accessories and installation.
Core Responsibilities
• Meet the sales target as assigned by the management.
• Search for new customers, clients and consultants who might benefit from company products or services and maximize their potential.
• Propose, negotiate and mutually agree the budget with his senior along with the resources required.
• Search for new customers, clients and consultants who might benefit from company products or services and maximize their potential.
• Develop and expand the market share of the company in the market.
• Establish contact with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Approach customers and create demand.
• Prepare and update the customer data base as per the company system.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product awareness.
• Customers relationship management and enhance the long-term relationships with customers.
• Prepare the customers visits plan and relevant visits Reports in daily basis.
• Effective delivery of value proposition via technical presentations, product demonstrations, service portfolio and written or verbal communications.
• Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
• Follow up the quotations and projects status with the customers.
• Liaise with other members of the Company to respond to prospect’s commercial and technical needs in a timely manner.
• Close the deals for the best interest of our company and complying with the policy and terms & conditions.
• Solve customers’ problems and issues.
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
Experience
- At least 5 years of Sales Engineer experience, especially in Marine Industry or similar
Self Management Responsibilities
- Know the market, focus with the customer and the market, keep follow up and be consistence, don’t give up, do the right things and make clean business only.
