About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join our fantastic team in Jumeirah Living Marina Gate. The main purpose of the role is to manage accounts in the SBU target environment, achieve sales targets, deliver market leading performance, ensure Jumeirah Living Marina Gate is the first choice for assigned accounts, maximize revenue and commercial opportunities for assigned segments; enhance the perception of Jumeirah Brand, maintain effective communication within Jumeirah Living Marina Gate and other departments.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are to:

• Deliver assigned KPI targets (weekly, monthly, yearly).
• Manage corporate and long stay business
• Act as the single point of contact within Jumeirah Living Marina Gate for each assigned account.
• Full account management to produce long stay proposals proposals/corporate contracts for assigned industry segments and geographic regions.
• Keep close follow up on developments of the competitor hotels (occupancy, structural alterations, renovation, special campaigns, rate promotions, marketing efforts, theme events etc.) Also explore and compare FIT and Group traffic, who is accommodating guests in which hotel, amongst the competitors.
• Maintain comprehensive awareness of all SBU needs including promotions, offers, USPs, IVTs, corporate market trends, account market share and customer needs
• Take full ownership of own performance. Initiate, implement and update ADPs for assigned customers in line with the departmental guidelines.
• Act and assist others when required as a specialist in the assigned industry segments keeping yourself updated and informed about all their highs/lows, major movements and trends within the industry segments.
• On weekly basis, prepare an activity report from the system which will cover sales call reports, site inspections, fam trips, new agencies, meetings, entertainment and other functions you participated in during the week and present to Director of Sales & Marketing / Associate Director of Sales
• Attend industry and association networking events in order to broaden relevant commercial contacts.
• Plan and conduct customer entertainment/outlet experiences across the SBU on a regular basis
• Balance customer service needs with Jumeirah’s business needs to achieve Jumeirah sales targets
• Actively promote and cross-sell other SBUs relevant to clients and pass on leads through CRM
• Participate in preparing sales action plans, attending sales meetings, developing new ideas such as special packages, programs, promotional activities undertaken by sales department and/or F&B.
