Position Overview
The post holder will be required to carry out tasks to maintain the work environment in a high state of cleanliness. The role is responsible for monitoring and managing the gate entry and exit systems to ensure the smooth operation of the terminal. They will be accountable for the safety, integrity, and security of the terminal.
Roles and Responsibility
· Monitoring and managing the entry and exit of booked vehicles that are required for the functional operation of services within the terminal,
· Operation of the Terminal Operating System as required,
· Monitoring and managing the entry and exit of pre-planned visitors and contractors to the terminal,
· Managing the entry and exit of traffic movements of unplanned visitors or contractors to the terminal,
· Perform XClerk exceptions for the management of mismatch information, or determine the correct path, before a lane can be opened,
· Using the LPR images, the PTZ cameras, the VoIP to talk to the driver, to resolve the exception and determine the correct action for the Truck or other vehicle,
· After correction of mismatched information or after being authorised to allow manual opening of the barrier arms.
Data entry and management as required.
- Academic Qualifications:
· Standard High School Education

Experience:
- Previous security gate experience preferred but not essential
Essential Requirements:
- Good level of written and verbal skills in English,
- UAE Driving License,
- Analytical skills for problem solving with ability to use IT systems,
- Ensure compliance with ER Rulebook and the applicable Procedures and Instructions.
