Service Supervisor  Full Time

Job Purpose

as a Service Supervisor in Diesel Power Generation field , the person will be required to lead and support any service optimization projects, workshop job planning and co-ordination of jobs, data collection & analysis, strategy implementation and execute tasks as per management directives. Diesel Power Generation – with Electrical specialization is a MUST

Core Responsibilities

• Carry out the assigned work independently on MTU and Volvo Penta products at sites and in the workshop
• Perform servicing and function tests on the MTU and Volvo Penta products at sites and carry out repair maintenance and adjustment as required. Conduct acceptance test upon completion of work
• Lead a team on any repair/assemble parts list quotation of MTU and Volvo Penta products either inhouse of at field service as and/ if required.
• Check installation of MTU products, setting to work and commission MTU products together with customer representatives according to MTU standard and policies.
• Provide status of work in progress and prepare travel report / service report upon completion of work (final report) or after return from an assignment that is not completed and to be continued in later time and maintain the service record (intermediate status report)
• Deal with technical inquiries from customers to colleagues whether in the capacity of your own knowledge or by assisting experts in providing the clarification
• Assist in ensuring quality control and order in work process in workshop and field regarding time management, attire of service staff and communication with customer (representatives). Upkeep the cleanliness of workplace inhouse and on site.
• Ensure HSE standards are executed in workshop and on-site of our company as well as additional regulations as required by customers
• Help/guide your team members if additional requirement like CICPA or other gate passes are required for a work that is under your responsibility.
• Ensure jobs are completed in time and on budget
• Ensure accurate timekeeping on jobs.
• Ensure detailed job reports are completed by the technicians and checked for accuracy. Reports to be complete no later than 5 working day after job completion.
• Ensure parts returns check and evaluated for core or warranty are completed according to OEM specifications. This is to ensure full core credits are received from OEMs. If parts are not suitable for core returns or warranties then they should be scrapped.

Qualification :

Bachelor of Electrical Power Engineering

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power Generation- Field Service , Installation and Commissioning
