About The Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Lifeguard to join our Sport and Leisure Team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Caution guests regarding unsafe areas, rescue guests in danger, and administer first aid.
- Maintain Order: Enforce swimming rules and regulations and manage guest behavior in swimming areas.
- Clean the swimming pool, report issues, and coordinate with the engineering team for fixes.
- Patrol designated swimming areas, ensuring a safe and fun atmosphere for guests.
- Operate rides and attractions according to manufacturer’s instructions and safety procedures.
- Ensure all lifesaving equipment is functional and ready for use.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Regional or International Lifeguard Training Program License Ellis and Associates as deemed necessary.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Upkeep of lifeguard techniques
- Demonstrate excellent level of fitness
- Ability to stand long hours and work under sunshine.
