Job Purpose
To provide expert tailoring, fitting, and alteration services for our customers, ensuring each garment reflects their personal style and fits perfectly. The Tailor will play a key role in delivering exceptional service standards, offering professional advice on garment adjustments, and ensuring timely completion of all alterations to enhance the Harvey Nichols customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Advise customers on the best tailoring and alteration options to achieve their desired fit and style.
Perform precise alterations, repairs, and fittings according to customer specifications.
Ensure garments are completed and delivered within the agreed timelines.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
Uphold Harvey Nichols’ luxury service standards and brand image in every interaction.
Collaborate effectively with the sales and fitting teams to provide a seamless experience for customers.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications:
High school qualification with a diploma or certificate in Tailoring.
Experience:
2–3 years of experience in tailoring, preferably within a luxury retail or fashion environment.
Languages:
Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Additional Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
Team-oriented with a customer-centric mindset.
