Lecturer in Arabic Language  Full Time

The Department of Languages and Culture at Ajman University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer positions in Arabic Language beginning Spring 2026. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic team committed to high-quality teaching, student success, and cultural engagement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Master’s degree (MA) in Arabic Language, Arabic Linguistics, Arabic Literature, or Applied Linguistics; a PhD in any of these areas is an advantage.
• Demonstrated university-level teaching experience.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital learning platforms.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate courses in Arabic language skills, Public Speaking, writing and expression, Arabic for non-native speakers, or other assigned subjects.
• Design and deliver engaging and well-structured classes aligned with course learning outcomes.
• Assess and evaluate student performance objectively, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous course improvement in alignment with departmental and accreditation requirements.
• Prepare and submit ICARs (Instructor Course Assessment Reports), CARs (Course Assessment Reports), and other required documentation.
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and progress reports.
• Participate actively in departmental and college meetings, committees, and academic events.
• Support initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Ajman University’s academic standards and accreditation policies.
• Engage in professional development activities and contribute to a collaborative academic environment.
