About the job
Job Description:
- Ensure safe work conditions at any point in time in area of responsibility.
- Carry out the regular process product quality checks to ensure the finished product adherence to the quality standards.
- Monitor & maintain all standard running conditions as per the Standard Operating Standards (SOPs) and Standard Running Conditions (SRCs).
- Record reading & checks as per the specified frequency on the SRC books.
- Identify process/product deviations & follow the escalation procedure to restore the standards.
- Maintain the Hygiene, 5S, & housekeeping standards.
- Perform manual activities such as material movement, weighing, lifting, loading, cleaning, batch preparation, scooping, stickering, inspection, casing, or palletizing.
- Ensure that all the critical control points are tested & monitored on time, & follow the escalation procedure in case of failure
- Carry out the weekly inventory stock take
- Carry out all tasks part of changeovers, CIP, Preparation, Startup, Shutdown & anything related to production including cleaning & manual activities in his area
- Carry out all Maintenance activities related to production machines including cleaning, Lubricating, Replacing and Repairing along with maintenance team
- Identify, Plan & implement LEAN & continuous improvement activities within the area of responsibility or wherever necessary.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of equipment
- At all times, comply with company policies, procedures and instructions
- Follow all HSE & Food Safety Rules and Regulations.
Required Criteria:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Food and beverages industry experience is must
- Knowledge of quality and food safety standards
