CAD Draftsman Jobs in UAE
Key responsibilities
Design
- Interface with engineers and specialists the requirements for mechanical designs, support infrastructure designs, CCTV camera planning drawings, underground services etc
- Able to Use Leica 360BLK point cloud scanner, capture outdoor environments, import I CAD design software and convert to architectural drawings
- Make security centric system diagrams, one-line diagrams and schedules
- Maintain the Electronic Document Registry
Surveying
- Make site surveys of indoor and outdoor environments, capture essential measurements and convert to Digital file formats
- Survey underground services, power distribution networks and map underground cable routes
- Survey support infrastructure and convert findings into digital file formats
- Develop know-how of team members and ensures knowledge transfer
- Supports training and development needs of team members and subcontractors to ensure ongoing development
Education
- Bachelor degree in design or engineering
- Proven experience in 2D and 3 D CAD design, expert in using AutoCAD, 2d and 3D, 360 fusion, SketchUp and JSVG CCTV camera planning software
Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a similar role
- Strong background in security centric designs
- Experience in ELV systems and ISMS systems is advantageous
- Involvement in major security design projects in the UAE
Skills
- Expert in Autodesk AutoCAD
- Expert in Autodesk 360fusion and Sketchup
- Expert in JSVG CCTV planner.
