PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for all engineering & technical disciplines that the project demands. To Plan, forecast, resource, integrate, implement and execute all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from Conceptualization to completion under the Smart Mobility/Smart Cities portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with customers to present a technical perspective on the company’s EV Charging offerings.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the project.
• Define the Project scope in co-ordination with the Sales team, by understanding customer’s existing processes and the desired objectives / goals.
• Collaborate with the Project stakeholder teams to obtain customer’ effective plan
• Lead the implementation and work closely with principal’s Product management and aid Global teams.
• Prepare project plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Coordinate with consultants for MEP utility approvals and designs.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team for customer facing appreciation.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Lead integration design and migration activities between the customer’s existing systems and offered solutions, as applicable.
• Interface with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of solution delivery to individual end users.
• Presenting the product and all features to customers at all the relevant events (internal & external).

· Identify and mitigate risks regarding delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed along with reporting and updates to the Line Manager.
• Travel extensively within the assigned region / territories for the purpose of Customer engagement / Project execution.
• Performing activities in compliance with the Company’s QHSEMS and as per the assigned specific responsibilities.
• Carries out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by Business Unit head.

Qualifications & Expectations

• BE degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics & Communication Engineering and /or any relevant robotics automation engineering degree.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
• Advanced MS Office skills & familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
• Project management and supervision skills
• Decision making ability and leadership skills
• Time management and organization skills.
