Job Description
A multi-skilled technician is primarily responsible for the Preventive, Corrective, & Reactive maintenance of HVAC equipment of the GMG property assets. He is also responsible for preventive & reactive maintenance of Electrical and Plumbing equipment present at assigned sites. A multi-skilled technician must maintain a proactive approach while working at the assigned sites and make sure of the sites are operational without any delayed downtime in MEP equipment.
1. Understand the complaints/issues, carry out all the relevant equipment’s to the site, diagnose the situation and the repair needs, carry out repair, replacement and maintenance works as directed/needed.
2. Responsible to carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown maintenance, Troubleshooting, Installation & commissioning of all MEP equipment’s and systems including Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Package Units, VRF, VAV’s, Duct-able Split Units, Decorative Split AC Units, Window AC Units, Pumps, Centrifugal/axial fans, fixed fans, Electrical equipment’s including DBs, Control Panels, Lighting, Power, Cabling, Earthing, and Plumbing equipment’s including Pumps, Sanitary wares, water fixtures, water heating and cooling, etc. whichever is installed at his assigned site.
3. Respond to all inquiries in a courteous and professional manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
4. Complete the PPMs and Work Orders as per provided schedule.
5. Organize work and equipment’s in a skilled and professional manner.
6. Maintain logs for all work performed while on duty and make sure no breakdown rectification gets delayed.
7. Ensure adherence to safe working conditions and highlight any issues that may lead to unsafe working conditions.
8. Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights, generators, placing flare, etc.
About the requirements
- HVAC – Good Experience
- Electrical – Average Experience
- Plumbing – Average Experience
- Carpentry and Painting – Basic Experience.
