Delivery Driver Full Time

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle (car, van, or truck) following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  
• Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring that packages are secure and undamaged during transportation.
  
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimize travel time and fuel costs while meeting delivery deadlines.
  
• Verify delivery instructions, addresses, and contact information before departure to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
  
• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, address any concerns, and provide exceptional service.
  
• Collect payments for cash-on-delivery orders and accurately record transactions when necessary.
  
• Maintain delivery records, including logs of miles driven, deliveries made, and any incidents or delays encountered during deliveries.
  
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the delivery vehicle.
  
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery protocols, safety guidelines, and customer service standards.
  
• Collaborate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to optimize delivery operations and resolve any issues or challenges encountered.
  

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 
  
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
  
• Familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
  
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and loads as needed.
  
• Basic math skills for handling payments and maintaining accurate records.
  
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
