MEP Engineer Full Time

Key Result Responsibilities

•    Assists the General Manager in achieving a risk-free and successful delivery of projects/refurbishment/maintenance facilities/logistics with focus on cost-effectiveness, quality, timeliness, and conformity of all actions executed.
•    Follows up construction activities at site & Ensures the Contractor’s adherence to Construction documents and latest Authorities’ regulations.
•    Provides all necessary on-site directions & assists in reviewing the project’s close out documents.
•    Acts positively and participates in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the GM, and project Safety Representative.
•    Collaborates with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to develop integrated MEP designs that meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
•    Conducts feasibility studies, cost estimates, and energy audits to optimize system performance and ensure cost-effectiveness related to MEP.
•    Designs and engineer MEP systems, including electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, and fire protection, using industry-standard software and tools.
•    Prepares detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation purposes. Assists in reviewing Contractor’s Submissions (shop drawings, Materials, RFI, etc.).

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering (or related field). With Minimum of 8+years of experience in MEP engineering or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in designing and managing MEP systems for commercial, residential, or institutional buildings.

Work Experience

– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software applications, with a strong understanding of building information modeling (BIM) principles.

– Proficient in English Language.

– Excellent analytics, problem- solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

– Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and adhering to project schedules and budget constraints.

– Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against set KPIs.
