Develpment Technician Full Time

Key Responsibilities :

•    To liaise with Security to ensure that the Hangar Facility is properly accessed.
•    Performing the day to day Unmanned Aerial System integration, testing and maintenance activities, as well as hangar duties and associated logistical activities as part of the I&T team.
•    To ensure that the Hangar Facility is used in accordance with the Hangar Facility Manual.
•    Perform inventory actions, UAS equipment labelling, packaging, preservation, handling and stores actions according to standard facility policies and procedures.
•    Perform UAS maintenance activities in order to ensure that all UAS scheduled and on-demand maintenance activities are performed on schedule, to a high level of quality and in accordance with the Master Maintenance Schedule.
•    Maintenance of AV log books and hangar documentation.
•    Perform and support UAS integration and testing.
•    Perform Hangar Facility housekeeping.
•    Make sure US Toolset are up to date, calibrated, properly used and stored.
•    Perform inspection to any incoming goods in to US Hangar Facility and keep record of delivery items.
•    Implement all OEM special technical manual and instructions correctly.
•    Take part in any internal and external quality assurance audits that might take place in UAS facility context.

Education & Experience:

•    Diploma and/or tertiary technical qualification in the fields of electronics or mechanics.
•    Good mechanical technician skills
•    Good general soldering skills.
•    Good experience with inventory management.
•    Good understanding of quality audits in UAS and maintenance context.
•    Good knowledge of the English language (i.e. both verbal and written communication). Knowledge of the Arabic language is an advantage.
•    Good understanding of Unmanned System scheduled and on-demand maintenance.
•    0-2 years of experience as Aircraft Technician, Aircraft Technician Assistant or Trainee in internationally recognized Aviation Organizations.
