Principal Electrical Systems Engineer Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Responsibilities:
- Produce and support the development of electrical power system designs for manned and unmanned aerospace vehicles
- Electrical power generation design for mainly unmanned aerospace vehicles
- Primary Power Distribution System design, PDU selection, integration and support.
- Secondary Power Distribution System design, SPDU selection, integration and support.
- Grounding Bonding, lightning strategy definition and development
- Electrical Power, Avionics and Mission systems – integration support
- Work closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary team
- Support and contribute to program milestones and major reviews
- Comply with company statutory requirements, rules and safety requirements
- Follow ADASI internal guidelines and processes
Qualifications:
- B.Eng in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Five to 10 years working experience within the aerospace industry.
- Five to 10 years working experience within the electrical power generation and distribution in aerospace industry.
- Five to 10 years working experience on product development in an electronics engineering environment.
- Five to 10 years working experience on technical performance and quality in an electronic engineering environment.
Working Environment
- Able to work umder pressure, with changing priorities, and willingness to put in the extra time to develop and to perform the assignments/tasks given; willing to travel and to provide field support during testing when required.
- May be required to undertake local/international travel as required and/or directed for successfully accomplishing the Project’s strategic objectives.
- The job is performed under general guidelines through annual objectives from the Group Manager. Work schedules and the prioritization work is left to the individual.
- The position may entail mentoring of junior engineers.
