Overview of the role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our Truck Division at FAMCO UAE. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering top-tier service, repair, and diagnostics for heavy commercial vehicles while ensuring minimal repeat issues and high customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on role that demands technical excellence, productivity, and the ability to identify potential issues before they escalate.

What you will do:

• Perform comprehensive vehicle servicing and mechanical checks to ensure reliable operation
• Replace key components such as brake pads, bellows, belts, pulleys, and complete running repairs
• Overhaul drive line components with precision and expertise
• Diagnose technical issues accurately and fix them right the first time
• Proactively identify and report potential faults during both workshop and field service jobs
• Communicate clearly with the Foreman or Service Advisor regarding all work carried out
• Follow OEM guidelines and service manuals while utilizing checklists to ensure thoroughness
• Support emergency and 24/7 service requirements as needed

Required skills to be successful:

• 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Heavy Commercial Vehicles
• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
• Strong diagnostic ability and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and handle complete service operations
• Knowledge of service best practices and productivity tools
• Effective communication in English (Arabic is a plus)
• UAE driving license is an advantage
